This salsa is HOT. (OK, not so hot as dancing on tables in a Cuban bar at two in the morning, but still pretty saucy.)
In fact, that’s where salsa (the dance) got its name. It means sauce in Spanish, but can also mean flavour or style. Arrriba! (Not sure what that means, but it sounds good.)
The Chilli Man Crazy Koala Habanero Salsa is made with fresh Australian orange Habanero Chilli, capsicums, onion, fresh garlic and selected spices, then slowly cooked. That’s what gives it a distinctive Habanero and curry aroma.
Goes with: your extra hot ravioli with ricotta, chilli con carne, prawns, spicy clams, stir fries, Beef Vindaloo, Thai noodles. It’s also mouth-watering on toast with melted cheese, nachos and is very tasty mixed with scrambled eggs or just eaten as a dip!
The Chilli Man says: “See you on the dance floor, Thursday nights from nine at Little Havana, salsaleros. Be there, or be missing out on my sharp salsa moves… Grrr.” |
